HIRING A PROFESSIONAL WEDDING DJ: ALL DISC JOCKEYS ARE THE SAME, RIGHT?

It is smart to price shop to find the best deal.  But are you willing to compromise your wedding?  You are hiring someone for a very important position.  Your Wedding Expediter.  They will be responsible for your announcements, coordination of your schedule & activities, management of your reception flow, the personality & representative of your reception & your entertainment.  Choose carefully and do not limit your choice soley based upon price.  In fact, price should be the least important factor when making your selections.  Have a rough idea of what you would like to spend and be realistic!  Not cheap!  This is important!

 These photos were taken at weddings in Fort Collins. DJs who were hired based solely on their price of $500 & $600.  The bride never bothered to set up a personal interview, ask questions about their qualifications or experience, check references, review their equipment.  These photos say a lot.
